Warped Kick Off Party in Brooklyn – March 25th

We're gearing up for the Vans Warped Tour Kick-Off Party in Brooklyn this Friday to announce the 2011 plans for Punk Rock Holocaust on the tour! We'll also be shooting a press conference scene with Warped Tour founder Kevin Lyman, and we're also looking for our lead actress for the summer, info below!

Backseat Conceptions is currently casting for a female lead for the 3rd installment of our Vans Warped Tour live concert/horror/comedy series, 'Punk Rock Holocaust'. The role is that of an attractive but tough field producer for a talk show that is traveling with the Warped Tour. The field producer is working to keep the host of the show (Angelo Moore of the punk/ska band Fishbone) in line and on track amidst a string of gristly murders on the road.  In the tradition of the Punk Rock Holocaust series, this female lead will be one of the central characters to the plot of the movie and will travel for at least 2 weeks with our production crew on the Warped Tour (East Coast dates, approx July 20th - August 5th).

Punk Rock Holocaust returns in 2011

The demonic, pop-punk Executioner has returned to the 2011 Vans Warped Tour with Angelo Moore of the ska/punk legends Fishbone.  Principal photography has been completed on the tour and we will be shooting additional scenes in the coming months. Stay tuned for exclusive clips as well as the winners of our filmmaker contest!

About Punk Rock Holocaust 3:
Angelo Moore of Fishbone is hosting his own talk show on the Warped Tour. Along with his field producer James, they travel with the tour interviewing bands on a homemade talk show set on a school bus. In their travels, Angelo and James discover the kids are turning into mindless zombies after their smart-phones become infected with a strange virus. Also band members who have previously died are now mysteriously playing on the tour. On top of all that the Executioner has returned and is running around killing the bands (sometimes re-killing) in the middle of the zombie chaos. Warped founder Kevin Lyman is once again caught in the middle of the madness, trying to maintain the Summer's biggest rock fest and keep the Satanic Record Exec Belial at bay (once again played by Troma's Lloyd Kaufman) amidst the biggest Punk Rock Holocaust yet!
